       The 2006 is a year of the 150 years anniversary of Spas Watzof, member of BAS. He is the first Bulgarian physicist who investigated and practiced in modern geophysics – meteorology and seismology. He compiled and published first bulletins with measurements. Thus he created and developed both scientific areas in Bulgaria. Some biography and notes are suggested.
