This paper raises some doubts regarding the correctness of term "discovered" manuscripts, which is often used by historians in science.
It describes three examples of "discovered" manuscripts of Middle Ages scientists from the central Asia: al-Biruni, al-Hazini and al-Farizi.
Their manuscripts are allegedly "discovered" in the 19th century, even though there is a reasonable doubt that they were known in Europe since the Renaissance Age and that were used by Copernicus, Brache, Galilei and Newton.
