She studied physics of metals at the National University of Science and Technology, Moscow, Russia (1977-1982)

She graduated low temperature physics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University (1985-1990)

She defended PhD

She was associate professor at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Institute of Solid State Physics Theoretical Department
