Education

Graduated nuclear physics from the Sofia University (1976–1981)

Ph.D. from the Chemical Physics laboratory (1982–1985) at the Sofia University (1985)

He became Sc.D. on physics (2001)

Research

Thin liquid films and surface forces, fluid interfaces, capillary forces and phenomena, phospholipid membranes, solubilization in micellar solutions, thermodynamics and kinetics of surfactant adsorption, attachment of particles to interfaces, and interactions in colloidal and bio-colloidal dispersions.
