in Plovdiv, 23 September 1932

Education

She studied secondary school in Plovdiv (1950)

Margarita graduated physics from the Sofia University (1953–1958)

Milko Borissov tutored her diploma work "Physical calculation for Gamma irradiation installation"

Specialisation â Bahba Atomic Research Center – Èíäèÿ è â CERN Èòàëèÿ

Research:

Area: Radiation safety, Gamma installation, Measurement of high dose gamma radiation

She initiated a range of radio-photoluminescent detectors creation, a dosimeter cassette and an automated system for measurement individual irradiation from gamma rays, thermal and fast neutrons

She created a range of irradiation devices and a remote measuring device in a hot chamber the distribution of the exposure power of the dose in the XZ plane created by high-level radioactive sources

Margarita Christova published 60 articles, 2 books, 50 reports, 11 inventions, 2 innovation and 4 new metods

She produced movable Gamma installation
