Natalia Janeva worked in the Nuclear Physics Laboratory at the Institute of Physics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences from 1960
She specialised in the Nuclear Physics Laboratory at the JINR in Dubna (1966–1971)
She created and headed research group on fast neutrons from 1977
A long time, she worked in Moskow and Obninsk. She had a short work trip to the Nuclear laboratory in Bologna, Italy (1964), and for 9 months she was in the IRMM Gell, Belgium (2002)
Teaching activities:
She lectured the course of Neutron Physics at the Sofia University (1983–1989) and tutored 10 magister degree theses and 12 dissertations
