PETKO KRUSEV KAMADZIEV
(08.12.1918 – 26.12.1976)




Born

He was born in the vilage Lisi Vrah, region Shumen

Education

He graduated physics from the Sofia University (1937–1942)

Ph.D. student at the Russian Academy of Sciences Semi-conductors Institute (15.10.1956–15.06.1960)

He spoke fluently Italian, Czech, Polish, German, French, English, and Russian languages

Scientific Research

He investigated Cadmium Telluride epitaxial lyers

At the BAS Institute of Physics, Kamadziev built aparatuse for Germanium monocrystals growt

Professional experience

At the University in Varna, he was Prof. Stoyan Petrov assistant at the chair of physics (29.11.1945–31.08.1949)

At the Sofia University, he was Prof. Nadjakov assistabt (01.09.1949–14.10.1956)

At the BAS Institute of Physics Kamadziev was researcher in the Germanium laboratory from 16.02.1961 and head of Germanium laboratory from 01.01.1962 and Semiconductors structural defects section

At the BAS Institute of Solid State Physics Kamadziev headed "Physical problems of integral and thin film" section and Heterotransition research group
